The location is exemplary in cleanliness and relaxation. Dave and Ruth are very kind and courteous hosts. Highly recommend Hacienda Amor ((Johnson City, TX). We will definitely return for another visit , Soon.
I'm so in love with Hacienda Amor! We stayed in the Waylon casita and it was perfect. There's a music theme throughout. The hosts, Dave and Ruth, have thought of every detail. This is a beautiful 2 bedroom casita with a full bath and kitchenette. We loved sitting on the patio and soaking in the Hill Country vibe! Watch out for the pups, Peggy and Lee! They are super affectionate. We were greeted by both upon arrival and they were our night security guards! Our visit to the area included a bottling event at Garrison Brothers. Dave was very helpful in providing us transportation to Hye, TX for the early morning check in and afternoon pick up. This is definitely a place for our return trip!
We stayed at Hill Country Guest Houses @ Hacienda Amor and had a wonderful experience. The casita that we stayed in was so nice and perfect for our trip. I can’t say enough about our host Dave and Ruth. They were both amazing. I highly recommend staying here if you are going on a hill country wine tasting or to bottle whiskey at Garrison Brothers.
Group of 6 couples stayed here ! We had a wonderful time and Dave and Ruth are the best ! Casita’s were very clean and well equipped and organized. We did a wine tour with Dave again and everyone enjoyed the day ! It was my 4th tour, so obviously we loved it !
Incredible experience. The casitas were clean, homey, and had everything you could need. Everything was so well designed and thought out, you could really feel the love and care that was put into it. Such a relaxing experience with great views, the cutest puppies, and amazing, welcoming hosts. If you’re still deciding where to stay, this is the place. We were already planning another vacation here on our drive, before even getting home.
The owners and casitas were exceptional. The view was awesome, the peaceful area was great, and the owners saw to it that everything was perfect. My wife loved it. We cooked on the awesome gas grill and lit the fire pit every night.
I was very excited for this get away and had high expectations. However, it was even more enjoyable than I had hoped!! The Loves at the Hacienda Amor were exceptional hosts and the tours are top tier to say the least. This is a must stay for any and everyone!!
This was the perfect little casita nestled in the hills. Spectacular views, quiet with only 4 other casitas and the service from Dave and Ruth was incredible. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
